Update on Debbie........April 28, 2012.....by Charlie

Debbie's week has gone well. Dr's visit Wednesday was good except for antibiotics prescribed for an infection. Deb has been quite active this week with therapy, nurse visits and running errands with me. She was the "greeter" at the marina Thursday afternoon while I worked and Friday we took a boat ride around the lake and she caught two fish. It was really good to see her facial expressions showing emotion when catching them. She went to sleep early tonight after a busy day starting with a hair appointment, her parents and brother visiting us, and nails done by Jenny. Update on Debbie....Sat., April 21, 2012....by Charlie

Debbie has had a good week. Occupational and speech therapies are continuing with some progress. Therapists say Debbie is really working hard and they are, as I am, so proud of her. It is still necessary for Deb to have care 24/7 but her attitude is so good, she is stronger and she looks great. Memory is still slow as Dr said it probably would be. But we are so blessed that she has come so far. We visited my son and family in Sevierville last Sunday and she enjoyed and handled the trip well. Today was hair and nail day so she is ready for church tomorrow. This coming Wednesday, the 25th, Debbie visits her Dr for her annual physical. Our praises continue to our Lord for her continued recovery and prayers to Him that these tests bring good results. Wishing each of you a blessed week!

Another good week for Debbie beginning with Easter Sunday worship and visit with family that afternoon. Continuing with a visit from Deb's parents on Thursday and then to the salon today.
Every good day with her is a blessing. We hope you all have a blessed week.

Update on Debbie......Sat., April 7, 2012...........by Charlie

Another good week for Debbie with slight noticeable improvements. We attended an Easter concert service at a local church tonight in honor of our risen Savior which she really enjoyed. All the words to the group's songs were displayed on screens and she sang along with them smiling all the time.
Deb is stronger now, but with all the activity today, she was really tired afterwards. She was awake from 8 this morning until 9 tonight with no nap this afternoon. Praise our Lord for His goodness and mercy!
