Update on Debbie........August 25,2012...by Charlie

Overall, a good week for Debbie. A visit to her urologist Monday was followed with kidney x-rays Thursday. No results yet. Deb has felt well and had good therapy sessions. We hope these x-rays and a scope next month will diagnose the cause of the recurring uti to rid her of it. After her salon visit today and eating out tonight, she has fallen asleep while watching the Nascar Bristol race. Thanks for your prayers and we hope you have a great day of worship tomorrow followed by a wonderful week.....

Update on Debbie.....August 18, 2012....by Charlie

Debbie's week has been good. The uti has cleared up with antibiotics and she will see her urologist Monday. Therapy has gone well and she seems to feel much better. Debbie now has a recumbent exercise bike and an exercise pulley set to help with her home physical therapy program. I need to use these myself. She also had a good day with her parents who visited Thursday while I worked at the marina. She and I sat outside this afternoon in this beautiful pleasant weather reading, working puzzles and talking about old times. I think she really enjoyed it.......I know I did. Have a blessed week.

Update on Debbie....August 11, 2012....by Charlie

Debbie has had a mixed week, mostly good. She got a good report on her CT scan and unless some behavioral change is noticed does not have to be retested for a year. Dr Cruz was impressed with her appearance and attitude. Deb and I celebrated at Logan's. Our Lord is good! On the other hand, she has had some balance issues and a recurring uti. She is now on another round of antibiotics and has an appointment with a urologist on the 20th. This has been affecting her mentally and physically. But Deb says she feels good and still has that wonderful smile and attitude. Home therapy still continues. So off to the salon today and a friends birthday party later. Update on Debbie.....August 4, 2012.......by Charlie

Only a short note this time as I posted just last Monday. Debbie is good. She and I fished a while the last two late afternoons and Deb caught two Friday and three today. She enjoys activities like this but shows fatigue quickly. Keep in mind she has a ct scan scheduled this Wednesday to re-check a "plump" area in the left side of her brain. I'm praying the test results show no problem and thank you for your prayers concerning this also. You all mean so much to us. Have a great week.
