Update on Debbie.....September 22, 2012........by Charlie

Debbie has had a good week. There were some days after her sedation for the shock wave treatment when she was less alert and more unbalanced, but by Wednesday her therapies showed she was about the same as before. Debbie had an enjoyable visit from her parents Thursday and a salon treatment Friday with dinner at friends that evening. Deb still has memory problems and paralysis in her right arm and leg but her attitude is 100 per cent GOOD! When I reflect on one year ago, I realize how much the Lord has blessed us and am so thankful to Him for how far Debbie has come. Your prayers are being answered and we cannot thank you enough for continuing them on Debbie's behalf. God bless you!

Update on Debbie.....September 15, 2012.....by Charlie

A quick note to let all of you know Debbie came through her shock wave kidney stone procedure last Thursday just fine. She was admitted at 7:00 a.m. and released at 3:00p.m.........A long day for her. Dr. said the procedure went well but was cautiously optimistic as to whether or not Deb would need another treatment. She sees him again in three weeks. Debbie had a good night's rest and slept most of the day Friday and has had minimal pain and seems to be fine this morning. Deb's parents were with us for the procedure. Thanks to each of you for your prayers, calls, and concerns and praise to our Lord for his loving care. Wishing you all a blessed week.

Update on Debbie.....September 8, 2012...by Charlie

Debbie has had a good week. She and I enjoyed a quiet Labor Day and her consultation visit with the urologist Tuesday went well. Debbie will have the kidney stone shock wave treatment as outpatient this Thursday morning at 7:00. Dr. Mansur said she will be sedated and he will place stints and, due to the size of the stones, only be able to break up about 70 per cent of them aferwhich three months later she will have another treatment for the remainder. Please keep her in your prayers. Debbie enjoyed fellowship, dinner and Bible study with some of the ladies of our church at the ladies retreat Friday evening and we traveled to Franklin, TN to Deb's parents home today to be with them and all her family for their 60th wedding anniversary celebration. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers and have a great week.

Update on Debbie......September 1, 2012.......by Charlie

Hello to all! Debbie's x-rays showed large kidney stones in both kidneys. These, according to her urologist, are the cause of continued infections and we have a consultation appointment with him on Tuesday. He said he would probably do the shock wave procedure to break them up. Please pray that this can be done painlessly and without any invasive procedure. Otherwise, a good week. Debbie feels well and continues to do well with her therapies. She visited with a dear choir member friend a few hours Tuesday and had a great time practicing singing and she and I enjoyed a visit from her parents Thursday. Thank you for your prayers and have a happy and blessed Labor Day week-end.
