Debbie's Update for August 27 by Charlie

As stated in the previous message, Debbie underwent emergency surgery yesterday for shunt revision. The line to the shunt became blocked by tissue and had to be replaced with a longer one. She came through the surgery well and other than 11:00 pm x-ray and 2:00 am ct scan and all other night interruptions, she rested as well as could be expected overnight. Dr Turner said this morning that the ct scan and x-ray showed the shunt was now working as it should. Deb was still sleeping when I left earlier, but looked great.
